Mill Woods Family Resource Centre relies on community donations and in-kind gifts to support the programs and services offered for the community. The agency has been operating for the past fifteen years responding to various community needs such as anger management, grief support, children and youth programs, and parenting groups. As a small, community based resource centre, with Society status and a charitable number, we accomplish a lot with little funding. All of our programs and services are offered at no cost, so they are accessible to all families.

Volunteers play an important role at Mill Woods Family Resource Centre by assisting with group facilitation and support, childcare, special events, maintenance and custodial support and day to day operations. They enhance the programs and services provided through their involvement and commitment to the agency.
